Yellow Cat Story 60: Black Is Driving Me Crazy

Yellow Cat Story 60 begins with Yellow bringing another serious complaint to Boss.

“I’m going crazy because of Black.”

This sounds alarming.

Boss listens while Yellow explains that his life has become almost impossible. He wants to eat, go outside, enjoy a little freedom, and conduct his usual important affairs.

But according to Yellow, Black controls everything.

He cannot even leave home peacefully anymore.

Once again, Yellow has arrived at Boss’s office to file an official complaint against the Black Surveillance Department.

No Food, No Freedom, No Privacy

Yellow summarizes his suffering.

No food.

No freedom.

No privacy.

Three short sentences.

A complete tragedy.

If Yellow had a lawyer, this would probably be the opening statement.

He only wants the basic necessities of life: dinner, freedom of movement, and the right to disappear occasionally without answering uncomfortable questions afterward.

Of course, Yellow conveniently leaves out one detail.

Where exactly does he keep trying to go?

That part of the report remains classified.

Black Enters the Case

Then Black appears.

Suddenly, Yellow’s speech about freedom becomes slightly less confident.

This is understandable.

Black does not deal in theories.

Black deals in evidence.

She has already operated ground surveillance, opened an air division, collected neighborhood intelligence, and identified at least one suspicious new girl.

Yellow knows exactly what happens when Black starts asking specific questions.

So he prepares his defense.

Yellow Has an Official Explanation

Whatever Black thinks she knows, Yellow insists there has been a misunderstanding.

“That has nothing to do with me!”

Excellent start.

Unfortunately, Yellow continues talking.

“I’m going there for business.”

Business?

Again?

After all the mysterious disappearances, wine-bar stories, suspicious women, and private appointments, Yellow has returned to his favorite explanation.

But this time, he upgrades it.

This is not ordinary business.

This is not even private business.

This is…

strictly business.

Strictly Business!

Yellow delivers the words with complete seriousness.

Case closed.

Nothing suspicious here.

Apparently, adding the word “strictly” transforms every questionable adventure into a legitimate commercial operation.

Black is unlikely to accept that argument.

Boss probably does not accept it either.

But Yellow does.

And sometimes that is enough for Yellow.

For four episodes, Black has been building a surveillance network while Yellow has been building excuses.

Black has ground intelligence.

Black has air intelligence.

Black has witnesses.

Yellow has two words.

“Strictly business.” 😹
