It’s My Private Business! 😹 | Yellow Cat Story 59

Yellow Cat Story 59: Where Have You Been?

Yellow Cat Story 59 begins with Black asking a very simple question.

“Where have you been hanging around?”

For an innocent cat, this should be easy to answer.

For Yellow, it immediately becomes a constitutional crisis.

“Why do you nag me about everything?”

There it is.

Black asked one question.

Yellow started a battle nobody had joined.

Yellow Is a Very Busy Cat

Yellow quickly explains that Black simply does not understand his complicated life.

He is busy.

Very busy.

Exactly what he is busy doing remains classified information.

Perhaps there are meetings.

Perhaps there are important appointments.

Perhaps the Wine Bar Madam requires urgent consultation.

Whatever it is, Yellow believes one thing very strongly:

Black does not have security clearance.

“I’m always busy.”

The statement is delivered with the confidence of a businessman running an international corporation.

Unfortunately, nobody has ever seen the office.

It’s My Private Business!

Then Yellow brings out his favorite legal defense.

“Stop interfering with my private business!”

Ah, yes.

Private business.

The magical phrase that Yellow believes can explain late nights, mysterious disappearances, wine-bar visits, strange perfume, suspicious women, and probably anything else Black discovers in the future.

In Yellow’s mind, saying “private business” immediately closes the investigation.

Case dismissed.

All records sealed.

Questions prohibited.

But Black does not appear to recognize Yellow’s legal authority.

Black Already Has Intelligence

Black watches him from above.

That alone should make Yellow nervous.

After all, this is the same Black who recently established ground surveillance, air surveillance, and what appears to be an unofficial neighborhood intelligence network.

Yellow thinks he is protecting confidential information.

Black is already several pages ahead in the investigation.

Then she mentions something very specific.

A new girl.

Not just any girl.

A suspiciously fox-like girl who has apparently been swaying around nearby.

Suddenly, Yellow’s “private business” does not sound quite so private anymore.

The Investigation Was Already Finished

Yellow wanted Black to stop asking questions.

There was only one problem.

Black did not need to ask.

She already knew.

Yellow had spent all that time defending his privacy while Black apparently had the location, the activity, and even a description of the new suspect.

That is the danger of arguing with Black.

Yellow thought the investigation was beginning.

Black was already reading the final report. 😹
