Yellow Cat Story 56: The Ground Operation Begins
Yellow Cat Story 56 begins with Black taking surveillance to a completely new level.
No more sitting around waiting for Yellow to come home. No more trusting his explanations about “private business.” Black has apparently decided that proper intelligence requires fieldwork.
Her first observation post?
Under a car.
Hidden in the shadows, Black watches the area like a highly trained secret agent. Yellow may think he is free, but unfortunately for him, Black has established Ground Surveillance Unit No. 1.
The Lipstick Girl Investigation
Black’s mission is not random.
There is intelligence to verify.
There are rumors.
And somewhere in the investigation, naturally, there is a Lipstick Girl.
Black watches carefully while trying to connect every suspicious detail. A normal cat might simply ignore the situation.
Black is not a normal cat.
One mysterious woman, one strange story, and one missing Yellow are enough to launch a full investigation.
At this point, Yellow does not need another excuse.
He needs a lawyer.
Madam Becomes an Intelligence Source
But ground surveillance alone is not enough.
Black needs information, and the Wine Bar Madam happens to operate one of the neighborhood’s most reliable intelligence networks.
So Black begins collecting information.
A question here.
A rumor there.
One suspicious detail leads to another.
This is no longer jealousy.
According to Black, this is an official investigation.
Unfortunately for Yellow, the investigation budget appears to be unlimited.
Black Opens the Air Division
Then Black upgrades the operation.
Why watch Yellow only from ground level when you can watch him from above?
Black climbs to a high observation point and begins air surveillance.
Now the security system is complete.
Ground unit: operational.
Air unit: operational.
Madam intelligence network: operational.
Yellow’s privacy: discontinued.
Even a professional spy would probably look at this system and quietly decide to stay home.
The Surveillance System Has One Problem
Black now has eyes everywhere.
She can watch the road from below and inspect the neighborhood from above. If Yellow meets the Lipstick Girl, changes direction, or even looks suspiciously happy, Black will probably know before Yellow does.
There is just one small problem with such intense surveillance.
When you spend all day secretly watching someone…
you can start looking suspicious yourself.
“Are you looking at someone else?”
Suddenly the investigator has become the suspect.
Black built the perfect surveillance system to watch Yellow.
She forgot somebody might be watching Black. 😹
