Yellow Comes Home Hungry
Yellow Cat Story 55 begins with Yellow finally coming home, looking tired, hungry, and slightly offended by the entire world.
There was no warm welcome, no special dinner, and apparently no committee waiting at the door to celebrate his return. For Yellow, this was already a serious household management failure.
“I’m home! Wait… where’s my dinner?”
He had been hungry all day, and somehow this had become everybody else’s responsibility.

Black Starts the Investigation
Black was not impressed.
Yellow had disappeared, returned whenever he wanted, and now he was standing there asking about dinner as if he had just completed an important diplomatic mission.
“And now you’re asking me for food?”
That was the problem with Black. She never accepted Yellow’s official reports without checking the details.
Yellow may have prepared an excuse for being late.
He had not prepared an excuse for being hungry.
Yellow Defends His Dignity
At this point, Yellow decided the issue was no longer about food.
It was about respect.
Possibly freedom.
Maybe even basic cat rights.
If nobody appreciated him enough to prepare dinner, then Yellow would simply leave.
“No dinner, I’m leaving!”
A dramatic declaration.
A brave decision.
A historic moment of independence.
Unfortunately, there was one small problem.
Yellow was still hungry.
The Revolution Reaches the Dinner Bowl
Yellow moved toward the food bowl while maintaining the serious expression of a cat who had just resigned from the household.
The revolution was still active.
The independence movement was still technically in progress.
But the dinner bowl was sitting right there.
Suddenly, leaving home did not seem quite so urgent.
This was no longer an escape.
It was a scheduled departure with catering.
Yellow Cat Story 55: Yellow Changes the Plan
After a brief strategic review, Yellow quietly adjusted his position.
He would still leave.
Absolutely.
His dignity demanded it.
Just not immediately.
“…I’ll leave after dinner.”
And just like that, Yellow’s great independence movement was postponed by one meal.
He came home demanding dinner, threatened to leave when nobody served him, and finally decided that freedom could wait until his stomach was full.
Yellow was leaving forever.
Dinner changed the schedule. 😹
