Black Becomes the Suspect
Yellow Cat Story 47 begins with Black complaining that something has changed at home.
Yellow, once the master of excuses, has suddenly become the investigator.
Now he wants to know where Black went, who she met, and—most importantly—who she slept with.
Black is offended. After months of questioning Yellow about perfume, wine bars, secret sofas, and mysterious nights, she now finds herself sitting in the interrogation chair.
She does not like it.
Yellow Discovers Jealousy
Black tells Boss that Yellow has become far too jealous.
He watches her movements, studies her behavior, and asks suspicious questions with the confidence of a cat who has apparently forgotten his own history.
Black cannot believe it.
This is the same Yellow who once defended overnight disappearances as “private business.”
Now he wants a complete report.
For once, Black understands how exhausting an investigation can be when you are the one being investigated.
Black Presents Her Evidence
Black decides to defend herself.
She does not offer witnesses, photographs, or a detailed timeline.
Instead, she presents one piece of evidence she believes should immediately prove her innocence:
“Look at me. I’m a very clean lady.”
Then she adds the final argument:
“I even shower three times a day.”
Yellow pauses.
That was not the answer he expected.
He asked about loyalty.
Black responded with personal hygiene.
Three Showers Solve Everything
Black seems completely satisfied with her defense.
In her mind, a cat who showers three times a day cannot possibly be suspicious.
Yellow is less convinced.
He wants to know who she was with.
Black wants him to appreciate how clean she is.
The conversation has now moved so far away from the original question that even Boss appears confused.
But Black remains confident.
Three showers.
Case closed.
The Investigation Ends in Confusion
Yellow looks at Black, searching for the right follow-up question.
Black looks back as if she has already provided overwhelming evidence.
Neither side is willing to retreat.
For months, Yellow survived investigations by changing the subject.
Now Black has learned the same technique.
And she may be even better at it.
Yellow asked:
“Who did you sleep with?”
Black answered:
“I shower three times a day.”
Somehow, the investigation is over.
