A Message from Yellow
Stray Cat 6 begins with Black hearing an unexpected message about Yellow.
Black had been gone for days.
No one knew where she was staying, but Yellow never stopped waiting near the house.
When I finally found her, I told her the truth.
“Yellow is still waiting for you.”
Black looked away without saying anything.
For a moment, her eyes softened—but the pain had not disappeared.
She remembered every lonely night, every unanswered question, and every time Yellow had made her wait.
“He’s waiting for me?”
Black finally whispered.
But she did not turn back.
“I waited for him too… for far too long.”
Back at the house, Yellow remained near the gate.
Every sound made him lift his head.
Every shadow made him wonder if Black had finally returned.
But once again, the road stayed empty.
Black had heard the message.
Yellow was still waiting.
But some wounds do not disappear simply because someone finally feels sorry.
Perhaps she would return one day.
Just not today.
Will Black Ever Return?
Yellow may still be waiting, but Black needs more than regret.
She needs honesty, patience, and proof that things will be different.
Until then, the distance between them remains.
Why Black Still Hesitates
Black’s hesitation is not about pride.
She remembers how often she waited alone while Yellow disappeared without explanation.
Hearing that he misses her may soften her heart, but words alone cannot rebuild trust.
Before returning, Black needs to know that Yellow truly understands why she left.
What Yellow Must Prove
Yellow must show Black that his regret is more than a lonely moment by the gate.
He must be patient, remain honest, and give her the space to decide for herself.
Waiting is only the beginning.
Trust can return only through consistent actions—not promises.

For now, Black keeps her distance.
Like many community cats, Black chooses distance when she no longer feels safe.
