Yellow finally comes home, hungry and full of complaints. But Black only gives him a cold glance. After spending all day outside, does he really expect dinner waiting for him?
Yellow Comes Home Hungry
Yellow finally returns home and immediately starts complaining about his empty bowl. He acts as though he has been starving all day, but Black is not impressed.
She gives him one quick glance and seems to say, “You spent the whole day having fun outside. Why are you asking me for dinner now?”
No Dinner Then I’m Leaving
Yellow tries one final threat.
“If nobody gives me dinner, I’m leaving!”
Black does not even move. She simply looks toward the open door as if to say, “Go ahead.”
Yellow pauses for a moment, looks back at his empty bowl, and quietly changes his mind.
“I’ll leave… after dinner.”
Another Day with Yellow and Black
Life with Yellow and Black is never quiet. Yellow may complain, threaten to leave, and act like the victim—but everyone knows he will stay as long as dinner is coming.
Black, meanwhile, remains calm. She has heard all his dramatic speeches before.
Do you think Yellow will really leave next time?
