Yellow Says It’s Over
Yellow Cat Story 50 begins with Yellow eating quietly while Boss watches him from nearby. On the surface, everything looks normal. Dinner is there, the house is calm, and no one is asking difficult questions.
Yellow even tells himself that the past is finished.
“No more pretending.”
It sounds decisive. Mature, even.
Unfortunately, Yellow’s heart has not received the same instruction.
His Heart Refuses to Cooperate
A few moments later, the brave speech begins to fall apart.
Yellow remembers the old nights, the familiar voice, and all the little moments he had convinced himself meant something more.
Then comes the question he cannot answer:
“But… why can’t I forget her?”
Boss says nothing.
There is no need.
Yellow has already exposed the truth himself.
Just a Little Longer
Yellow tries one more time to hold on.
“Stay with me… just a little longer.”
The words are soft now. No bravado, no business excuses, no dramatic stories about mysterious meetings.
Just a tired cat asking an old memory not to disappear too quickly.
For once, Yellow is not trying to impress anyone.
He is simply losing an argument with his own heart.
The Nights He Still Remembers
Yellow whispers:
“I loved our nights together…”
That is the problem.
The nights are gone, but the memories are still very much alive.
Every quiet evening brings them back. Every familiar place carries a little piece of the past. And every time Yellow says he has moved on, his own thoughts immediately prove otherwise.
He may be ready to leave the story behind.
The story is not ready to leave him.
Still Waiting for a Dream
Boss finally looks at Yellow and delivers the quiet verdict:
“Poor fool… still waiting for a dream.”
Yellow does not argue.
There is nothing left to explain.
He lowers himself to the floor, closes his eyes, and stays there with the memory a little longer.
He says the love is over.
His heart, apparently, is still waiting for the next episode.
