Black Returned in Secret
Black quietly came home, but she was not looking for Yellow. Before approaching the food bowl, she carefully checked that he was nowhere nearby. Only then did she begin to eat, stopping again and again to listen for any sound.
Only Dinner, Nothing More
She ate quietly, but never fully relaxed. Every few seconds, Black looked toward the garden as if Yellow might suddenly appear. This was not a homecoming. She had returned only because she was hungry.
A Message for Yellow
After finishing her meal, Black slipped quietly back into the garden. She was not ready to face Yellow—not yet. Before disappearing, she seemed to leave one final message:
“Tell him to forget about me… for a while.”
Will Black Return Again?
