This Buriram Castle first ride was not a long or perfect journey.
But it was the first road that showed me how far a small motorcycle could take me.
The First Road
Every journey has a beginning.
For Won Cub Life, it began with a small motorcycle and a first ride to Buriram Castle.
At that time, I did not know how many roads would follow. I simply wanted to ride, see a new place, and keep a record of the day.
The video was not perfect, and neither was the journey. But this first ride became the starting point of everything that came later.
Buriram Castle First Ride
Buriram Castle is a modern cultural complex inspired by the architecture of Phanom Rung, one of the most important Khmer-style historical sites in northeastern Thailand.
Walking along the stone path, I saw rows of carved boundary stones, decorative sculptures, and a central sanctuary rising beneath the clear blue sky.
Although this was not the original ancient temple, the design gave me my first close look at the powerful stone architecture that would later become an important part of my journeys through Buriram.
Inside the Stone Sanctuary
Stepping inside, the bright sunlight quickly gave way to cool shadows and narrow stone passages.
The high ceiling, carved doorways, and layered chambers created a quiet and mysterious atmosphere. At the center stood a sacred image, adding a spiritual presence to the replica sanctuary.
For a first-time rider, this was more than a sightseeing stop. It was the moment when the road began to connect with history, architecture, and the stories hidden across Thailand.
The First Ride on Video
This short video is the earliest riding record of Won Cub Life.
The filming was simple and the editing was still unfamiliar, but it captured the excitement of arriving at Buriram Castle for the first time.
Looking back now, the imperfections make the video even more meaningful. It preserves the moment before the many roads, temples, historical sites, and camping journeys that followed.
The Road That Followed
That first ride ended at Buriram Castle, but the journey did not end there.
One road gradually led to another—ancient temples, quiet villages, mountain routes, border roads, and nights spent camping beneath the Thai sky.
At the time, I was simply recording a small personal adventure. Only later did I realize that this imperfect first journey had become the beginning of Won Cub Life.

The journey continued to Phanom Rung Historical Park and Prasat Muang Tam, where ancient Khmer architecture, history, and the roads of northeastern Thailand became an important part of Won Cub Life.
