Black Controls the Border
Yellow Cat Story 33 begins with Yellow approaching the wall as though he is finally about to escape for a little private time. But Black is already waiting at the checkpoint.
She blocks the route and issues a complete travel ban: no exit, no excuses, no red lipstick, and absolutely no “just looking around.”
Yellow stops immediately. This is no longer a simple argument between two cats. Black has turned the wall into a border crossing, and Yellow’s freedom application has just been rejected.
Yellow Applies for a Ten-Minute Visa
Yellow tries to negotiate. He does not ask for the whole evening, a mysterious overnight trip, or unlimited access to the wine bar alley. He requests only ten minutes.
According to Yellow, ten minutes is barely enough time to stretch his legs, check on a few important business contacts, and perhaps accidentally pass by someone wearing red lipstick.
Black understands the application perfectly. That is exactly why she refuses it.
No Exit, No Excuses
Black continues reading the rules as though she has been officially appointed Minister of Yellow’s Movements.
No walking.
No wandering.
No suspicious meetings.
And definitely no disappearing behind the wall and returning with a new smell.
Yellow tries to argue that these restrictions violate his basic rights. Black replies that basic rights do not include late-night business, secret sofas, or wine bar investigations.
The border remains closed.
Boss Receives an Emergency Appeal
With every exit blocked, Yellow turns to the only authority who might overrule Black.
“Boss… help me.”
He presents himself as a prisoner of unreasonable border control—a hardworking cat denied fresh air, freedom, and access to his important outside business. He does not mention the wine bar Madam, the mysterious sofas, or the red lipstick investigations. Those details are apparently classified.
Yellow lowers his request to the absolute minimum:
“I need freedom. Just ten minutes.”
It sounds modest, almost heartbreaking. But Black knows Yellow well. Ten minutes is enough time for him to disappear, start three new businesses, and return smelling like another investigation.
